Today’s theme at The Farm is France vs California in honor of our guests on this special occasion.
The evening goes as such…
1st round: I always like to start the tasting with bubbles, it always makes a welcoming statement.
1st round: Dry Rose from Provence, France.
2nd round: Competing fresh, crisp whites to transition us from beginning to mid courses.
3rd round: Leading into reds with a lighter style, Pinot Noir, from Burgundy and California of course.
4th round: Arriving into big, bold reds for the heart of the meal/evening. Here I’m showing none other than a classic Bordeaux followed by a Cab blend from the heart of Napa.
5th round: Sweetening things up to wrap up the tasting with a California Chocolate Port.
